At Ra, we are so confident in our products that we offer you the opportunity to purchase and try your product for 30 days from the date you receive it. If you are not completely satisfied with your product, you can return it, regardless of whether it has been used or not, for a full refund.

We want you to find your perfect product, so we also offer free exchange(s), within 30 days of the date of the receipt. Exchanges mean that you can return the product and try another.

(If you prefer, rather than process an exchange, you can simply purchase several products to try, and return the ones that you do not like within 30 days of purchase, as per our 30-day Return Policy.)

In case you are returning your item(s) for a refund, please note that refunds will be processed within 5 business days after the item(s) has/have arrived at Ra Optics. This processing time is used for our team to inspect the returned item(s) and initiate the refund accordingly. 

Exact terms and conditions of returns and exchanges vary based on the country of your order and return or exchange. Read below for details.

United States of America (USA)

Returns:

We offer free returns, meaning that we will even pay for your return shipping. Please email support@raoptics.com to initiate the return process. You will receive options for the return method. Select the option that you prefer. Your refund will be issued once we receive your product.

If you selected Free Shipping at checkout, there is no shipping charge to be refunded. If you paid for Express Shipping at checkout, the cost of shipping will not be refunded.

Exchanges:

You are entitled to one (1) free exchange within 30 days of purchase. This means that if you are not completely satisfied with your product, and you want to try another product of equal value, we will cover the cost of return shipping of your initial product, and send you a new product of equal value, free of charge, and cover the shipping as well.

If you choose a product of lesser value, the difference will be refunded to you; if you choose a product of greater value, you will be charged for the difference in price.

For any additional exchanges, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the returning product, and shipping the new product. You can process a maximum of two (2) exchanges within the 30-day period after receiving your initial product.

Outside of the United States of America (Rest of World)

Returns:

We still offer the opportunity to try your product and return it for a full refund on the purchase value of the product. However, you will be required to pay return shipping.

You can take the product to your local post office and select the slowest, least expensive shipping method (which is typically less than $30 from anywhere in the world to the USA — although this is just an estimate, and actual international shipping prices can vary). We will require proof of shipment, in the form of an image of your receipt, in order to authorize your refund. (This policy is subject to change at any time, at our discretion, such that we may require your return shipment be received before a full refund is issued.)

Exchanges:

You are entitled to one (1) exchange within 30 days of purchase. This means that if you are not completely satisfied with your product, and you want to try another product of equal value, we will send you a new product of equal value, free of charge. However, you will be responsible for the cost of return shipping of your initial product, and you will be charged a fixed fee that covers the cost of the shipping, and duties & taxes of the replacement product. This fee is subject to change, and will be presented to you when making your exchange.

If you choose a product of lesser value, the difference will offset the cost of your exchange, and any remaining value will be refunded to you; if you choose a product of greater value, you will be charged for the difference in price.

You can process a maximum of one (1) exchange within the 30-day period after receiving your initial product.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

We do not accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason and without justification. This right does not apply if the condition of your item is used or worn, without tags, or without its original packaging.

However, given our 30-day return and exchange policies above, you will still be eligible to return or exchange your product within 30 days, following the above conditions, including covering the cost of shipping, duties & taxes, where applicable.

Refunds

In the case of refund, your refund will be processed once the original product is received. You will be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund, as well.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, and you have not seen the credit on your card or bank statement, or original payment account, please contact us at support@raoptics.com.
